100SEVEN Snags Silver at the Tellys

What Are the Benefits of Advertising Campaigns?

Everyone can name a commercial. Whether it was from last week, or years ago, the pop culture landscape and lexicon has been shaped by campaigns since the dawn of newspapers. Slogans and characters follow us long after they are gone (don’t squeeze the Charmin, anyone?) and keep brands in your mind. This is the work of great advertising. While your company may not have million-dollar budgets for Superbowl ads, carefully chosen media and messages can be just as effective in giving your business the sales boost it needs.

We’ve hit a point in popular culture where advertising is everywhere, no matter what. On the sides of the article you’re reading, jingles on the radio, and even paid brand placement advertising on Netflix. In such an oversaturated market, it can be hard to separate from the pack. Getting seen alongside corporate giants may seem difficult, but creative marketing can help put your message in front of the customers who need it most.

However, you don’t just want any customer. Advertising en masse may seem like the answer, reaching thousands can’t be wrong, right? But how many of those customers will relate to your brand and buy your product? Customizing your base is essential in this day and age, making sure your message reaches the perfect audience for your business. Don’t waste money showing your company to everyone when your customer is right in front of your eyes.

Let’s say you’ve just released a new product. You’ve honed your craft to create the best thing you can, spending countless days planning and testing to make sure it’s perfect. After all of your hard work, it finally hits the market. However, no one sees it. If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? Moreso, if your product launches but no one knows, you’ve wasted your efforts! Advertising is responsible not just for creating buzz and informing customers of your products, but making sure they get where they need to go.

As a company that focuses on not just the Portland community, but up and down the west coast, is being recognized on a global scale is no small feat. This award has previously been given to media giants such as Univision, Viacom, Microsoft, and DC Entertainment.

This year has been unpredictable across the board. There’s been bad, but we are happy to announce a little bit of good. This year, 100SEVEN won silver at The 2020 Telly Awards for Promotional Campaign-Online Commercials! We were awarded for our work  “Impress Yourself. Get Hip.” promoting Portland’s very own Hip Furniture. In case you missed it, take a look at our campaign here
